What is more important, time or money? The following few lines would prove that time is not money but much more than that. Hence it urges us to respect each other and our efforts as it involves the same.
In my opinion, time is surely the more important one as once gone it can never come back. Money is lost, can be found, if spent can be earned, if liked can be gifted, if deserved can be inherited, if lucky can be won, if desired can be cheated, if invested can be grown and so on. But time is God's gift to mankind, unlike money which is his creation. It is surely our free will to use both as we wish but if we have very little money we can still survive but if we have only very little time at our disposal, we will soon perish because time defines existence.
We can donate, lend or share money but not time as the latter can only be shared. You can use the money to buy but we need time for that as time facilitates it. Time spent wisely helps achieve happiness whereas money can only strive to achieve that. Money can be fake but time is always real. Time moves forward and cannot be controlled or be driven back but that is not true for money. Money can wrongly make us feel too important or too small but not time. Moreover, we can calculate, "Time Value of Money," but time is too valuable to be attached a monetary value, on the other side, safely speaking.

Time teaches you lessons but money does not to that extent as the former makes one mature with time and in many cases humble. Time spent properly helps us earn, invest, share and grow money but money cannot buy time. Money is not time but time is more precious than money. None of us is given unlimited time and so we should respect it and do good karma and not frill away by being jealous, mouthing, conniving or indulging in other vices.
Time should be spent on good deeds as also money on religious and charity activities besides using it for just activities of our daily lives. Both time and money are dependent on each other for both need each other. You need time to be used productively before money can be earned and if you have only time and no money your state of affairs is not going to be liked by you. Hence giving priority to time and to the goodness of actions, one should be involved in the pursuit of happiness and success the ingredient of which money happens to be.
We can do well only if we realize that God created time to do karma thereby help us lead a happy life and so the pursuit of only the goodwill realize us the good we seek in life. Om.
